He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Connie; children: Ralph (deceased), Ellen Eisses (Jim), Martha Kralt (John), Henrietta Flikweert (Dan), Elizabeth Ormel (Dick), Joanne Linzel (Randy), Dirk Van Rooyen (Tracy), Wally Kloostra (Corrine); and 27 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Providence Christian Reformed Church (4845 King St, Beamsville, ON L3J0N5). A reception was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
