He was predeceased by: his parents, Heinrich Winter and Helene Winter (Wiebe); his grandmother Mary Neufeld; his brother Gerhard; and his siblings-in-law, Anneliese and Ulrich.
He is survived by: his sibling Einlage; his extended family, Cornelius and Erna Janzen; his daughters, Rose-Marie and Lily; his friend Armin Epp; his daughters, Rose Bartel (Ken), Judy Miller (Forrest), Lisa Schellenberg (Dave) and Heidi Willms (Jason); his son-in-law Larry Falk (Veronika); his grandchildren, Brittany Koop (Christopher), Kyle Bartel (Belinda), Craig Falk (Morgan), Kelsey Bartel (Emily), Candice Gifford (Josh), Calvin Bartel (Steph), Spencer Miller (Bre), Jessica Miller, Rachel Miller (Chris Chiarle), Darby Schellenberg, Braeden Miller, Dessa, Georgia Schellenberg, Ava, Nicole and Lincoln Willms; his sisters, Gretel Matis and Mary Kolochuk (Ray); Hedy.
