Nellie Gleitsmann Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Gleitsmann (Vineland, Ontario), who passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Wilfred; her husband Gunter E. Gleitsmann; her siblings, Anne, Mary, Jesse, Helen, Margaret, Susie, Kay and Abe; and her parents, Abraham Friesen and Anne Friesen (Peters).

She is survived by: her children, Angela Mallette, Christine Gleitsmann-Davies (Don), David Gleitsmann and Lisa Gleitsmann; her grandchildren, Rebecca, Michele and Eric (Emily); her great grandchildren, Alexia, Charlotte and Violet; and her sisters, Eva Reid and Nettie Vincent.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Vineland Cemetery (4025 Martin Rd, Vineland, ON L0R2C0).
