He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul and Margaret; and his sister Margaret Tollar. He is survived by: his girlfriend Susan Slachta; his children, Kevin (Dana), Libby (Lee) and Brad (Shelby); his grandchildren, Talia, Abby, Stevie and Enzo; and his sibling's children, Ann (Mario) and Doug.
