He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Bogerd and Hermke van den Bogerd; and his siblings, Nelly (Eddy Devries), Gerald (Liz), Joan (Henry Thiessen), Ally and Paul.
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Sandra) and Karen (Jeff Main); his grandchildren, Christine (Rob Seehagel), Paul (Stephanie van den Bogerd), Adam Main (Samara), Jennifer (Jesse Juhlke) and Rob Main; and his sister Gerda (Richard Peachy). He is also survived by his 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tallman Funeral Homes (3277 King St, Vineland, ON L0R2C0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Tallman Funeral Homes (Fireside Room) (3277 King St, Vineland, ON L0R2C0).
