She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edna Ester Prata (Santos) and Walterci Guimarães (Santos); her siblings, Judith Estrela, Julio Eude Estrela, Junia Regina Estrela, Julia Rosa Estrela, Waldete Guimarães, Santos and Walquiria Guimarães; her children, Melanie Lopo Van Vliet (Mark Van Vliet) and Auldrey Lopo (Aren Sammy Lopo); and her granddaughter Mila Lopo.

A funeral service was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Tallman Funeral Homes (3277 King St, Vineland, ON L0R2C0). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
