It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Letkemann (Virgil, Ontario), born in Plum Coulee, Manitoba, who passed away on December 13, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jacob Hoeppner and Justina Hoeppner (Suderman); her husband Abe Letkemann; her son Douglas; her siblings, Margie Funk, Katie Hamm, Jean Morris, Diane Braun, Jim and Pete Hoeppner; and her siblings-in-law, George Funk, Bruno Hamm, Jim Kemp, Edwin Morris, Bert Hamm, Charlie Braun, Peter Letkemann, Leo Enns, William "Sarge" Sargant, Tina, Verna Hoeppner and Kay Letkemann.
She is survived by : her son Richard Letkemann (Cathy); her grandchildren, Sarah Letkemann (Jacob Horton), Bryan Letkemann (Brittany) and Jeremy Letkemann (Caley); her great grandchildren, Haley, Graham, Wyatt, Nora and Emmett; her siblings, Sarah Kemp, Doris Hamm, John, Abe (Ruth), Don (Marlene) and Dave Hoeppner (Betty); and her sisters-in-law, Erna Hamilton, Jessie Enns and Ann Sargant. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
