He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Paula Mayer; his children, Mitchell Mayer (Winter) and Amanda MacDonald (Jakob); his grandchildren, Grace, Fred, George and Ezra; his parents, Leila McIntosh and Aime Mayer (Ruth); his siblings, Kathy Hughes (Kevin), Gordon Mayer (Tracy Swinwood), Edward Mayer (Lynne Gagne), Leo Mayer (Kathleen), Maria Nelson (Dan), Sheilla Beaumont (Mike), Cynthia Mayer, Stephanie and Mary-Stella; his siblings-in-law, Darlene Belisle (Jacques), Sheilah Weber (Mike Chapman) and Shawn Mitchell (Karen); and his aunt Cathy Oja (Erik). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Community Centre (161 Glenbower Crescent, Wahnapitae, ON P0M3C0).
To celebrate Les' legacy and love for family, contributions may be made to an educational fund supporting his cherished grandchildren.
