He was predeceased by: his wife Mabel Sider; his brothers, Lorne, Eugene and Arnold; his brothers-in-law, Bruce and Don MacMillan; his sister Alma; and his siblings-in-law, Donna, Ray Lofthouse, Orlin Marr and Roy Stayzer.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly McMahon (Mark), Lloyd Sider (Renee) and Carol Sider; his granddaughters, Christina Hallett (Dave), Alyssa Reece (Adam), Taylor and Mackenzie Sider; his great grandchildren, Ollie, Sybil, Wells and Matilda; his sisters, Ruth Lofthouse and Carol Stayzer; and his sister-in-law Barbara (John).
