He is survived by : his wife Elaine Hehn (Ernewein); his children, Paul (Linda) of Alma and Lisa (Bruce Watke) of Mildmay; his grandchildren, Wesley Ernewein, Daryl (Laura Ernewein), Joshua (Krista Ernewein), Adam (Morgan), Eric (Katlyn), Brent and Sarah; his great grandchildren, Brianna, Hannah, Maxwell and Violet; his siblings, Rita (Ron Gehl), Clarence Hehn (Joan), Eileen Kamrath, Marlene Warner (Don), Robert Hehn (Marie), Patricia Hall (Dennis) and Clarice Wiebe (Henry); his sister-in-law Ida Hehn; and his parents-in-law, Jean Martin and Bill Ernewein (Shirley).

Donations may be made to Sacred Heart Church Building Fund or the Immaculate Conception Church Building Fund as expressions of sympathy.
