He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine; his siblings, Don (Kathy), Carol Bell and Ann Schlatman; and his parents, Edward Schumacher and Florence Schumacher.
He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Ann Tuinema (Steven) of New Liskeard and Joanne Schumacher (Chris Tomat) of Barrie; his grandchildren, Melissa, Brandon (Haylee) and Anna; his brother Doug (Cindy) of Brights Grove; and his brother-in-law Bill Bell of Walkerton.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cameron Funeral Home (1106 Yonge St S, Walkerton, ON N0G2V0). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (221 Victoria St, Walkerton, ON N0G2V0).
