We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2022, at the age of 100, Arnetta Maurer of Walkerton, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Edgar Maurer; her daughter Dianne Poechman; her siblings, Earl, Verna, Lorne and Gordon; and her parents, Alfred Yandt and Bessie Yandt.

She is survived by : her daughters, Marie Angel-Hewitson (Robert) of Walkerton and Catherine Mellish (Tom) of Niagara; her grandchildren, Le-Anne Pilecki (Greg), Trevor Angel (Tammy), Jonathan Poechman (Carrie), Tania Jackson (Jeff) and Angela Baril (Mark); her great grandchildren, Alyssa (Adam), Amelia (Miles), Tyler (Allie), Vanessa, Mariah, Victoria, Carly, Miley and Alex (George); and her great great grandchildren, Romy, Rudy and Winston. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Walkerton, Branch 102, or to the Saugeen Hospice Inc. would be appreciated by the family.
