He was predeceased by: his wife Leona; his parents, Edward Grubb and Amelia Grubb; his siblings, Raymond Grubb (Helen), Dorothy Wilhelm (Jerome), Walter Grubb (Anne), Geraldine Wilhelm, Lucy Miller (Richard), Shirley Grubb, Edward Grubb, Marlene and Joseph Grubb; his siblings-in-law, Brenda Grubb, Stanley Weber, Don Niesen and Joseph Stroeder; Bernard Garvey, Reta Fortney (Andrew), Frank Garvey (Mary), Bernadette Burns (Ray), Jerome Garvey, Patrick Garvey (Sheila), John Garvey, Helen Hinsperger (Norbert) and Raymond Garvey.
He is survived by: his children, Denis (Patti) of Mildmay and Joanne Weishar (Gary) of Bluevale; his grandchildren, Jordan Grubb (Jodi), Rebecca Kraemer (Tyson), Ainsley Morrison (Jonathan) and Andrew Weishar (Michelle); his great grandchildren, Kane, Koen Grubb, Peyton, Landon Kraemer, Kylie and Madalyn Weishar; his siblings, John Grubb (Joan), Doreen Weber, Phyllis Niesen and Francis Grubb; his siblings-in-law, Leona Grubb, Norbert Wilhelm, Kay Garvey and Catherine Garvey; Mary Stroeder.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cameron Funeral Home (1106 Yonge St S, Walkerton, ON N0G2V0). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (20 Peter St S, Mildmay, ON N0G2J0).
