It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Opperman (Walkerton, Ontario), who passed away on September 13, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Harry Opperman; her children, Lois Kuntz and David Opperman; her parents, William and Sarah; and her siblings, Reverend Alexander Kramer, Ray Kramer (Popeye), George Kramer and Anna Marie Kramer.

She is survived by : her children, Paul Opperman of Pickering, Mary Lou (Wayne Batte) and Harriet (Mervin Reinhart); her son-in-law Bill Kuntz of Formosa; her sister Marjorie Lecky of Barrie; her sister-in-law Ena Kramer of Walkerton; and her parents-in-law, Anthony, Gertrude Opperman, Paul, Josephine Heisz, Clayton, Cora Schnurr, Elaine Kramer and Glenn Lecky. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Doris always said that even though the Covid 19 pandemic has been tough, that the staff at Brucelea Haven were always good to her and the food was always great, especially the dessert.
