He was predeceased by : his siblings, Irene Bohnert (Herb), Rita Scott (Wally), John Schmidt (Delores), Elaine King (Bruce) and Eleanor Binkley.

He is survived by : his wife Hannah; his daughter Melissa (Brad Murison) of Walkerton; his grandchild Lauren Waters; his siblings, Marylou Cox of Walkerton, Robert (Winnie) of Walkerton and Martha Monk of Hanover; and his brother-in-law Les Binkley of Walkerton.
