Florence Birr Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Birr (Walkerton, Ontario), who passed away on June 25, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Florence leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alan Birr; her sister Marie; and her brother-in-law Lloyd. She is survived by: her daughter Elaine (Rick Barnes); and her siblings, Ernie Taylor (Marj), Mabel Strader and Elmer Becker (Joyce).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cameron Funeral Home (1106 Yonge St S, Walkerton, ON N0G2V0). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
As expessions of sympathy, donations to the Walkerton and District Hospital Foundation or Brucelea Haven Activation Fund (https://donate.mytributegift.org) in place of flowers would be greatly appreciated by the family.
