It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Jacklin of Walkerton, Ontario, born in Chesley, Ontario, who passed away on July 12, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his father James Jacklin; and his sister Bonnie Thompson. He is survived by : his mother Marian Jacklin (Barber) of Hanover; his wife Marianne (Frook); his sons, Cory (Cornelia Van) and Craig (Wendy) of Ponoka, Alberta.; his grandchildren, Chance, Lorelei, Garrett, Cees, Duncan, Jagger (Lauren), Jace and Jestin; his siblings, David (Nola), Bruce (Sherry), Bryan (Darlene), Donna Bridge (Dennis), Douglas (Heather) and Roger (Allie); and his brother-in-law Wes Thompson (Kim).
Therefore, his family would appreciate memorial donations to the Ontario 4-H Foundation, which will support members in agriculture in Bruce, Grey, and Huron Counties, or the Bruce County Beef Farmers, which will be used to support the Aspiring to Agriculture Award given out in all Bruce County elementary schools.
