It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Cassidy (Walkerton, Ontario), who passed away on November 19, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Jerome Cassidy and Lillian Cassidy; his siblings, Gerald, Fran, Pat, Bob and Maureen; his parents-in-law, Helen, Tom, Hugh, Bea, Mort, Bud, James and Mary Elphick; and his brother-in-law Wayne Elphick.
He is survived by : his daughter Pam; his wife Gwen; his children, Don Maddess of Mitchell, Wendy Cassidy, Doug Cairns of London, Mike, Jane Cassidy of Hanover, Rick Cassidy, Carrie Duhamel of Cargill, Kelly Cassidy and Bruce Kuntz of Formosa; his nephew Ken; his niece Sharon Elphick; his sisters, Betty Kennedy, Norma Mortimer, Charlene Eckensweiler and Diane Lerch; and his brother-in-law Ron. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 greatgrandchildren and one great-greatgrandchild.
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
