He was predeceased by : his brothers, Vic, Fred, Ray and Philip; his parents, Charles Bester and Agnes Bester; his father-in-law Morley Fischer; and his brother-in-law Dan Strauss.
He is survived by : his daughter Tiffany Cook (Chris) of Gadshill; his spouse Laurie; his children, Dana Wright (Jeremy) of Walkerton and Abby Drysdale (Matt) of Listowel; his grandchildren, Ryerson, Elliott, Bennett, Cohen, Sophia, Nolan and Callie; his siblings, Bea Schaefer (Francis) of Belmore, Paul (Barb) of Point Clark and Brenda Hurley (Tom) of Listowel; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Bester of Walkerton, Lorrie Bester of Walkerton, Sharon Bester of Walkerton and Mary Bester of Saskatoon. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, friends.
