He is survived by: his parents, James Girodat of Hanover and Dianne Girodat (Don Doyle) of Elmwood; his nephew Christopher (Jessica); his great-nieces, Karlee (Cameron) and Wrenley; his extended family, Rob and Tanna Albert; Robert (Stacie Loewen), Sherri Hurlburt (Ian), Kyle, Christina, Grant, Jennifer, Cody, Devin, Chris, Alexandrea, Mackenzie, Brendan, Robyn and Nathan. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, and all his friends and co-workers.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cameron Funeral Home (1106 Yonge St S, Walkerton, ON N0G2V0). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (221 Victoria St, Walkerton, ON N0G2V0).
