She was predeceased by: her son Rob Schnurr (Sheila Arnold); her husband Lloyd Schnurr; her siblings, Joseph Beitz, George Beitz, Clarence Beitz (Nora), Anna Oehring (Bill), Harvey Beitz (Caroline), Florence Fischer (Bill), Catherine Grubb (Lorne), David Beitz, Melvin Beitz, Lorne Beitz and Theresa Huber (Harvey); and her in-laws, Dorothy Walter, Florence Walter (Clayton) and Larry Thorn.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Thompson (Dennis), Marlene Kupferschmidt (Brent), Mark Schnurr (Tammy) and Kim Metcalfe (Creg); her grandchildren, Jasmine Thompson (Christian Glass), Bailey Thompson (Collin Zettler), Caleb Schnurr (Haley), Brett Schnurr (Kristin Moerschfelder), Jordan Schnurr (Sarah Lindblad-Schnurr), Connor Schnurr, Katrina Butler (Derek), Tori Thompson (Sam), Kyle Kuntz (Rachelle), Kody Schnurr, Katelyn Schnurr (Dan Rourke), Cole Metcalfe and Chase Metcalfe; her great grandchildren, Isla, Eden Butler, Emery, Reid, Sully Thompson and Ava Kuntz; her siblings, Eugene Beitz (Edna) and Jerry Beitz (Janet Pratt); and her siblings-in-law, Rose Beitz, Jean Beitz, Diane Beitz and Anna Marie Thorn.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (20 Peter St S, Mildmay, ON N0G2J0). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mildmay-Carrick Recreation Centre (24 Vincent St, Mildmay, ON N0G2J0). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mildmay Carrick Complex (24 Vincent St, Mildmay, ON N0G2J0).
