She was predeceased by: her husband Paul; and her siblings-in-law, Ken Benninger, Mary Benninger, Adele Benninger, Fran Wilhelm (Al) and Bernice Girodat.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen of Walkerton, Jeff of Hanover, Scott (Laura) of Clifford and Greg (Angela) of Hanover; her grandchildren, Tyler, Nicole, Erynn, Kaily, Mya, Cameron, Emma, Marley, Neilly, Paige, Avery and Aiden; her great grandchildren, Abby, Zoey, Andrew, Quinn, Charlie and Jaymee; her siblings, Therese Weiler (Ron) of Walkerton, Rosemary Friesen (Rob) of London, James Girodat (Dianne) of Hanover, Joe Girodat of Hanover, Donna Currie (Calvin) of Holland Centre, Edward Girodat of Hanover, Vince Girodat of Walkerton and Paul Girodat (Sheila) of Meaford; and her siblings-in-law, Joe Benninger of Chepstow, Jim Benninger of Simcoe, Bonnie Neeb (Howie) of Exeter and Marguerite Oberle of Brussels. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cameron Funeral Home (1106 Yonge St S, Walkerton, ON N0G2V0). A Mass was held on Friday, January 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (221 Victoria St, Walkerton, ON N0G2V0).
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Saugeen Hospice or Walkerton and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
