We announce the death of Robert McCreary (Walkerton, Ontario), who passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 83. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross McCreary and Gladys Bell; his sisters, Marlene Neal (Doug) and Margaret McCreary; and his in-laws, Doug Bridge (Rose), Helen Bridge, Shirley Burrows (Jack) and Ed Kramp.
He is survived by: his wife Linda McCreary; his children, Greg (Jayne) of Guelph, Todd (Kim) of Walkerton and Terri Lynn of Walkerton; his grandchildren, Katie (Nick), Brenden, Emily, Jessica (Josh), Jenna and Tyler; his great grandchildren, Carter, Olivia and Theo; his brother Bill McCreary (Maryann) of Thornbury; his in-laws, Donna Kramp of Guelph and Lois Campion (Jack) of Fredericton, NB; and his friends, Fred and Chris Pelley of Ottawa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A reception will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 102 (505 Scott St, Walkerton, ON N0G2V0).
