He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry and Edith; and his siblings, Barbara, Bob and Lloyd.

He is survived by: his children, Chad (Lindsay), Cory (Tanya) and Jennifer Giesler (Ben); his grandchildren, Abbi, Ty, Myles, Coya, Isabella and Cordahlia; his close friend Dianne Nicholson; his sisters, Leola (late Lavern) and Louise; his sister-in-law Karen Davis; and also, Tosha Cunningham (Dylan), Cameron Nicholson (Nicole) and Jamie Chester. He is also survived by 7 step-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
