He was predeceased by : his parents, William McKeegan and Hattie. He is survived by : his spouse Pat McKeegan; his brother James McKeegan (Laura) of Auburndale Florida; and his sisters-in-law, Karen Grieve (Donald) of Guelph, Joanne Scott (Robert) and Judy Scott (James). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
