He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilfred Fernand and Annette Chatel (Belle-Isle); his siblings, Robert Chatel (Bonnie), Mariette and Henri; his parents-in-law, Elda and Ed Nottley; and his siblings-in-law, Tressa and Bob Loosemore.

He is survived by : his wife Norma Chatel (Nottley); and his grandchildren, Brayden, Mackayla, Cohen and Drew. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
