He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Vancoillie and Helen Vancoillie (Barr). He is survived by: his wife Ruth Vancoillie (Fournier); his children, Dave Vancoillie (Tiffanie) and Chrissy Vandenberg (Joel); his grandchildren, Reid, Maddox and Lincoln; his siblings, Rick Vancoillie (Kim), Dan Vancoillie (Carrie) and Michele Roegiest (Leon); and his siblings-in-law, Vivian McPhee, Rand Fournier (Irene) and Jamie Fournier (Paula). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home.
