He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Galbraith and Cleada Galbraith; and his sister Sherry Beecroft (Fred). He is survived by : his siblings, Wayne Galbraith, Cathy Taylor, Ed Galbraith (Marie), Bert Galbraith and Laurie Galbraith; his wife Jill (Foster); his children, Jennifer Volkes (Tom) and Koren Barry (Rich); and his grandchildren, Michael, Allie and Jason. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.

“To My Dear Family: I am so very sad to hear of Clare's passing. Even though I have not had contact with all of you in a very long time, my memories of growing up with your Mom , Dad and each of you remain unchanged. Since I have lived and worked in Michigan for many years my visits to Canada were limited and brief going to see Grandma and Grandpa until their passing. I wish I could be there to hug each of you .
