He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louis Floin and Bertha Floin (Bogaert); his son Daniel Floin (Melissa); his grandchildren, Clint and Raylen; his son David Floin Jr. (Ashley); his grandchildren, Hunter, Amelia and Zackarie; and his siblings, Francie Barnier (Ron) and Steve Floin (Rita).
