She was predeceased by : her parents, Clare Smith and Margaret Smith (McDonald); her husband Robert Lloyd Guthrie; her son Paul Guthrie (Kathy) of Oshawa; her grandchildren, Lee-Ann Virani and Michael Guthrie; and her siblings, William Smith (Bill) and Marjorie VanSickle of Chatham.

She is survived by : her son Barry Guthrie (Barbara) of Wallaceburg; her grandson Robert Guthrie of Oshawa; and her great grandchildren, Jamal, Alicia, Mackenzie and Andrew. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
