It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis Joseph Vermette of Wallaceburg, Ontario, who passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Vermette and Kathryne Vermette (Murray); his grandchildren, David and Sarah; and his siblings, Murray, Kevin, David, Sissy, Mary and Angela.

He is survived by: his children, Kyle Vermette and April Hudson (Tom); his grandchildren, Jessica and Tommy; and his siblings, Gaye Ritchie, Luan Vermette and Aaron Vermette.
