With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frederick Shantz of Wallaceburg, Ontario, who passed away on September 28, 2023. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frederick Shantz to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Lorne Shantz and Almeda Shantz (Good); his stepmother Mary Shantz (Horst Gingrich); his brothers, Roland Shantz (Fern), Stewart and Richard; his sister-in-law Dianne Shantz (Roth); and his niece Janet Mazereeuw (Charles).

He is survived by : his wife Debbie Shantz (Hillis); his son Cooper C. Shantz (Erin); his granddaughter Olivia; his stepchildren, Clinton Hunter and Cassandra Brubacher (Peter); his granddaughters, Maeve, Maiya and Cambridge; and his siblings, Esther Shantz, Ken Shantz (Myrna), Eileen Bauman (Clare) and Yvonne Pomeroy (Clare).

As an expression of sympathy, donations can be accepted at the Funeral Home for: Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada or Cancer Research Foundation of Canada.
