He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Hermsen and Wilhelmina Hermsen; his wife Joy; his children, Tracey (Chris), John (Stephanie) and Paul (Jana); his grandchildren, Austin, Ethan, Liam, Katie, Nicole, Emily and Timothy (Matthew); and his siblings, Francis (Debbie Hermsen) of Wallaceburg and Gary (Nancy Hermsen) of Blenheim. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the McKinlay Funeral Home (76 Main St E, Ridgetown, ON N0P2C0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Hank can be made on his behalf to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.
