She was predeceased by : her parents, Edmund DeMol and Louise DeMol (Liessens); her husband Jules Duchou; her grandson Kevin; and her brother Frans DeMol (late Julianne).

She is survived by : her children, Roger Duchou (Lydia), Linda Thornton (Brian) and Helga Benoit (Leo); her grandchildren, Stacey (Greg), Carly (Derek), Jessica (Chris), Tiffany (Dave), Denise and John; her sisters, Elaine Clement (late Victor) and Annie Meeze (late Bruno); and her goddaughter Greta Stradiot. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
