It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mariette Cornelius of Wallaceburg, Ontario, who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Devillaer and Helena Devillaer (Adriaens); her husband Maurice Cornelius; her son Barry Cornelius; and her brother Neil.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Chad Cornelius (Monica), Jodi Gander (Mark), Matthew Oldewening, Alison Johnston (Shawn) and Jennifer Oldewening; her great grandchildren, Chelsea (Quincy), Christopher (Hannah), Shaina (Matt), Derek, Jessica (Lyndon), Brendan Brady (Madi), Noah and Caden; her great great grandchildren, Ella and Grayson; and her brother Robert DeVillaer.
