He is survived by: his wife Grace Thiessen (Jacques); his children, Christina Sutherland (Jay) and Billy Thiessen (Trish); his grandchildren, Cole, Kaitlin, Cooper and Quinn; his stepgrandchildren, Oliver, Connor and Amber; and his siblings, Susan Andrews (David) and Pete Thiessen (Cheryl). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

As an expression of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
