He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel "Lester" Laffin and Mildred "Louise" Laffin (Wheaton); his children, Amanda Haley (Bernard) and Garrett Brooks (Natasha); his grandchildren, Autumn, Markus, Olivia and Logan; and his sisters, Lois Carr (Robert), Kimberly Latter (Randy) and Jackie Ray. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
