We announce the death of David Laurie Ford (Wasaga Beach, Ontario), who passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 76. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. David will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew David will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. David’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hank Ford and Frances Ford; and his sister Lynn (Dennis). He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Cody (Kelly) and Allison (Nate); his granddaughter Tessa; his sisters, Judy (Bob) and Lori (Tucker); and his caregiver Melanie. He is also survived by his family, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wasaga Beach Lions Hall (1724 Mosley St, Wasaga Beach, ON L9Z1Z8).
