Joy Brethauer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Joy Brethauer of Wasaga Beach, Ontario. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid Joy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her children, Allan and Kristi (Chris Plewes); her granddaughter Marlene; her brother John Weech (Susan); and her pet Lindty. She is also survived by her chocolate Labrador, by her fellow musicians, her neighbours, their dogs, and her many friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Wasaga Beach Lions Hall (1724 Mosley St, Wasaga Beach, ON L9Z1Z8).
