She was predeceased by: her husband James Murphy; her son James; her grandchildren, Gareth and Siobhán; and her nephew England.

She is survived by: her children, Frances (Rick Thomas), Philomena Murphy (Meena), Annette Murphy (late Ratko), Tony (Jeannine) and Daniel (Evalee); her grandchildren, Erin, Amber (Andrew), Clinton (Elodie), Shannon (Jamie), James (Justine), Dana (James), Roya, Kerry and April (Filip); her great grandchildren, Dalyce, Grayson, Ruby, Zachary, Ophelia, Penelope, Violet, Emilee, Cooper, Katie, Finn, Owen, Austin, Ayden, Ty, Drew and Frances; and her great great grandchild Jack.
