In loving memory of Robert Read (Wasaga Beach, Ontario), who departed this world on May 25, 2026 at the age of 78. Robert leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Robert shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Robert farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda; his children, Michelle (Donald Rouleau) and Jeff; his grandchildren, Brody and Tayah; his great grandchild Nash; and his brother Bill (Barb).
His family wishes to thank Dr. Bryan Marshall and his medical team as well as special thank you to Bob's PSW's Colleen and Andrea as they cared for Bob during his 10 year struggle with Parkinson's. Private arrangements at this time. If desired, a donation to Parkinson's Association or The Collingwood General and Marine Hospital would be appreciated by his family.
