It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Russell Ashley Searle of Wasaga Beach, Ontario, born in Turtleford, Saskatchewan, who passed away on September 9, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, LaVerne Searle and Margaret Searle. He is survived by : his daughter Ashley (Bruce Jensen); his grandchildren, Troy and Sarah; his son Erik (Mina Watanabe); his grandchildren, Christine and Adam; and his brother Doug Searle (Lisa). He is also survived by other family members and many good friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 16th 2023 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home - Wasaga Beach Chapel (509 River Rd W, Wasaga Beach, ON L9Z2X2). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 30th 2023 at 2:30 PM at the Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens (3164 Ninth Line, Mississauga, ON L5L5Z6). A reception will be held on Saturday, September 30th 2023 at 3:00 PM.
