Valerie Ovenstone Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2026, at the age of 79, Valerie Ovenstone (Wasaga Beach, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Halliday and Catherine; her stepmother Rita; and her extended family Stephen (Pat). She is survived by: her children, Jamie (Lisa) and Justin (Lori); her grandchildren, Evan, Brody, Addison, Scarlett and Irelynn; her extended family, Beverley, Leah (Phil), Sandra (Marco), Steven, Joyce and Rosanne (John); and her nieces and nephews, John Michael (Kim), Julie Anne, Mischa, Sachi, Taylor and Rachel.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home - Wasaga Beach Chapel (509 River Rd W, Wasaga Beach, ON L9Z2X2).
