She was predeceased by: her parents, Valeriana (Gaudencio Junasa) and Bessie (Samuel "Louis" Weiss); her siblings, Paulina Bendiçion (Isabelo), Januario Junasa (Apolonia), Francisco "Franco" Junasa (Adoree), Rev. Bienvenido "Manong Ben" Junasa, Ignacia Garde, Agapito Junasa (Nanie) and Rev. Priscilla "Lilly" Camarin (Pacifico "Joon" Jr.); her brother-in-law Bienvenido Manibog (Lucrecio Junasa); and her niece Loretta Bendiçion.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Weiss; her sister Annette Manibog; her brother-in-law Don Weiss (Cathy); her children, Karl Weiss (Jordana) and Susannah O'Grady (Matt); her grandchildren, Sophie Weiss (Ben Levy), Owen Weiss (Julianna Acosta) and Robyn O'Grady; her sister-in-law Regina Junasa; her nieces, Ruth Bendiçion (Dorothy Llosa), Reah Garde, Leah Sanglay and Margaretta; and her nephew Ben Manibog.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to one of the following charitable organizations to honour the memory of Margaretta: Friends of Alexander Place, the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation, or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
