She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Jason Ellis; her parents, Alain Lachance and Lyne; her sister Julie Mostert; and her pet Save Me.

Squashing stereotypes about what a small women can accomplish, she biked 900 km in 6 days for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, twice.
