She was predeceased by : her parents, Ralph Golding and Fern Golding; her husband Wallace C. Kirkwood; her siblings, Norma Ribble, Shirley Stratford, Bob Golding and Fred Golding; her sons, Ron Kirkwood and Rick Kirkwood; and her great grandchild Madelaine Kirkwood.

She is survived by : her siblings, Carol Batson and Star Golding (Isabel); her sons, Ralph Kirkwood and Robert Kirkwood (Wendy); her grandchildren, Michael Grant (Tammy Horn), Rihannon Kirkwood (Martin Myke), Eryn Kirkwood (Aaron Stanger) and Carol Ann Earle (Jason Eberly); her great grandchildren, Sara Kirkwood, Olivia Kirkwood, Ty and Katie Earle; and her great great grandchildren, Ronnie and Miloh Park.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 123 (223 Nichol St W, Waterford, ON N0E1Y0).

As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB).
