She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Melnyk; her parents, Walter Bell and Beatrix Maude; and her brother Ron Bell. She is survived by: her pet Jimmy Cat; her children, Laurel Camacho (Merv) and Shaunne Melnyk (Ruta); her grandchildren, Robert, Christopher, Kenneth, Seija and Thais; her great grandchild Christian; her sisters, Susan Travis, Barb Gardner (Jim) and Jo Ann Olin (Rollie); her nephew Kevin; her daughter Sarah Beitz (Grant); and her grandchildren, Abigail, Thomas, William and Brigitte. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
