He was predeceased by : his wife Linda (Aitchison); and his brothers, Bob Aitchison (Helen) and Dave Aitchison (Marilyn). He is survived by : his children, Jamie, Jeff (Cathy), Patrick (Dawn) and Joanne (Doug Hopkins); his grandchildren, Cody, Alexis, Braeden (Kelcie), Brian, Samantha (Tanner), Nicholas, Bradley (Alyssa), Tyler and Breanna; his great grandchildren, Luca and Zayden; his sisters, Joan Bremner (late Jim), Virginia Barrett (John) and Ellen Durrand (Frank); and his caregivers, Abby and Sadie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in memory of Ed to the Waterford Old Town Hall.
