He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, George Sloat and Mabel Sloat (Curley); his wife Rosemary; and his children, Joanne Davis (Ron), Bradley Sloat (Rosa), Allison Rowe (Stig) and Erma Whitby. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
