He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernard and Clara; and his siblings, Louise, Doug and Bill.

He is survived by : his wife Lorene; his children, Jim Jr. (Sue), John (Patty), Brian and Renee (Greg); his grandchildren, Kirstin, Caitlyn, Brittany, MacKenzie, Haleigh, Maisyn, John Broc, Tezra, Gabriella, Julian, Autumn and Ruby; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Henry, Aurora and Sebastian; and his siblings, Bob and Shirley.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be very much appreciated.
